Itinerary ^{(Day Wise)}

Day 1 :Bagdogra Airport – Darjeeling (Approx. 93 kms, 3 hrs drive)

Arrive at Bagdogra airport and proceed to Darjeeling. Often referred to as the “Queen of the Hills”, it remains just as
alluring with its tiny waterfalls, little villages and a narrow gauge railway track. Arrive at Darjeeling and check into
your hotel. Evening is at leisure. Overnight at Darjeeling.
Please note:
All guests are requested to carry documents (04 passport size snaps and copies of valid Indian Photo ID address
proof like election card, driving license and passport)

Day 2 : Darjeeling Sightseeing

Early morning visit Tiger Hill to see a beautiful sunrise and Himalayan Range like Kanchandzonga, Mount Everest etc.
One can see the horizon changing colors just before sunrise and then the entire Himalayan range turns golden. After
breakfast at hotel proceed for city tour visiting Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (closed on Thursday) which was
started by Tenzing Norgay after he climbed Mt. Everest, Zoological Park (closed on Thursday), Tenzing Rock, Gombu
Rock, Tea Estate (from outside), Japanese Temple and Peace Pagoda. Overnight in Darjeeling.

Day 3 : Darjeeling – Pelling (75 kms 3 hours approx.)

After breakfast proceed to Pelling (2000 mts.). Pelling is another serene, mountain village which lies in the western
districts of Sikkim. On arrival check-in to hotel, rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight at Pelling.

Day 4 : Pelling sightseeing

After breakfast proceed for city tour visiting Khechipalri Lake, Rimbi Falls, Skywalk (Ticket on direct payment), Darap
Village, Orange Garden and Rabtense Ruins. Overnight at Pelling.

Day 5 : Pelling – Gangtok (2 Nights)

After breakfast proceed to Gangtok. Gangtok is the capital of Sikkim, known for its mesmerizing beauty, scintillating
mountains, and the gorgeous winding hill roads. Later proceed for half day sightseeing in Gangtok visiting Flower
Show, Handicraft, Institute of Tibetology, Do Drul Chorten. Overnight at Gangtok.

Day 6 :Gangtok sightseeing

After breakfast proceed for a full day trip to Tsomgo Lake which is 35 Kms from Gangtok at an altitude of 12,400 feet.
The lake derives its waters from melting snows off the surrounding mountains Legends say that lamas could forecast
the future by studying the colour of the lake’s waters. Also visit New Baba Mandir. Overnight at Gangtok.

Day 7 :Gangtok – Bagdogra Airport

After breakfast proceed to Bagdogra Airport to board flight or proceed to New Jalpaiguri station to board your train

As everyone is becoming a frequent traveller now, we suggest that you make your own travel accessories kit to ensure a stress free holiday. Always make sure to carry less and light luggage, use a four wheel small or medium suitcase and please make sure that you are carrying only one suitcase per person. This will ensure that you will travel smartly and without any inconveniences. It is also recommended that you have one cross shoulder bag or haversack for your handy needs which will ensure that you are comfortable at the time of sightseeing and also easy for photography during your tour. A smart cap/hat and sunglasses are definitely something that you should have in your kit. Though Discoverxperience provides all three meals, that is breakfast, lunch, dinner and Discoverxperience treats as per the itinerary, you can carry dry snacks of your choice in small sealed packets for munching during air travel or road journeys. If you are travelling during the monsoon or to destinations where it is rainy, please carry a small umbrella or poncho. For international tours, please carry a universal adapter for charging your cameras and mobile phones. Ensure that your clothing and footwear is suitable for the destination you are travelling to.

Airlines/Room up-gradation and complimentary will not be entertained during the tour unless if specified at the
time of booking.
There is no refund for any services not utilized during the tour.
Security deposit is required either in cash or credit card by hotels which is refundable provided no room
incidentals are incurred. This security deposit is not included in this quote and must be paid by the
guests/corporate directly to the hotel when checking in.
Guests are advised not to keep valuables in the coach/vehicle while sightseeing. The Company shall not be
responsible for loss of valuables from the coach / vehicle . If the coach / vehicle is accidentally or otherwise
damaged by the Guest, s/he will be required to pay compensation for the same.
